Chris Mottershead

Vice-Principal , Research and Innovation , King’s College London

Chris Mottershead is Vice-Principal (Research and Innovation) at King’s College London. He joined King’s from BP, where he worked for thirty years, most recently as the Global Advisor on Energy Security and Climate Change. Prior to this he was Technology Vice President for the Global Gas, Power and Renewables businesses. He has an Applied Physics degree, an MSc in Cybernetics is and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts. He is a non-Executive Director of the Carbon Trust and is an advisor to the G8+5 Legislators Dialogue on Climate and Energy.
