The GMEC cluster model is based on a proven approach. Medical Excellence Clusters exist in the USA, Europe and Asia and more are in the process of being built in Asia and the Middle East. GMEC brings the concept of a biomedical cluster to the UK Health Science sector, building the capacity for developing the next generation of medical advances in the UK.
